PRODUCT DETAIL

Floor stickers with great advertising potential

Are you already using the floor as advertising space? If not, leave the largest amount of space you have available for your advertising unused. Individual floor stickers are an inexpensive and effective advertising medium directly at the point of sale. Since a large part of purchasing decisions are made spontaneously, you can use stickers on the floor of your customers – while they are still in your store – to present new products or inform them about discount campaigns, for example, and thus significantly increase sales at the point of sale with this floor advertising. The stickers can also be used in companies for occupational health and safety.

Printed floor stickers can be used in a variety of ways

Adhesive films such as our floor stickers are suitable wherever potential customers sometimes let their gaze wander downwards: When people enter a store with a large sales area, their gaze often falls on the floor, so you can welcome them with an appropriate floor film or give them orientation. In the supermarket, when customers are looking for a specific product on the lower row of shelves, the floor graphics automatically catch the eye and thus represent an efficient advertising tool. Another place of application is changing rooms: When trying on new clothes, many prospective buyers look down on themselves – and then discover your floor advertising. Do you only want to place your advertising message for a short time? Nothing could be easier: we use a removable adhesive for our floor stickers.

Certified floor stickers for more safety

Of course, you can not only advertise effectively with floor stickers in the corporate design: Depending on the variant selected, they also meet the corresponding requirements for the various slip resistance classes. In order for you and your customers to walk on floors safely, there must be certain friction values between the shoe and the floor. These are described in the BGR 181 "Floors in workspaces and work areas with a risk of slipping" and the slip resistance test is carried out in accordance with the DIN 51130 test procedure: Here, the floor covering or floor material is tested for its slip-resistant properties and the results are assigned to the evaluation groups R9 (lowest requirements) to R13 (very high requirements).

The Technical Rules for Workplaces assign the following workspaces and work areas to the various assessment groups:

  • R9: Sales rooms and supermarkets, customer centres, bank branches, stairs in schools, entrance halls, drugstores, hairdressing salons, doctors' offices, hospitals, restaurants (with service), toilets, break rooms and pharmacies

  • R10: Underground car parks and multi-storey car parks, self-service restaurants, changing rooms, washrooms and sales rooms for packaged goods

  • R11: Cheese production, chocolate production, cold rooms for packaged goods, medical rooms, disinfection rooms, aircraft hangars and covered loading ramps

  • R12: Craft businesses with sales, sales areas with deep fryers or grills or uncovered refuelling plants

  • R13: Delicatessen production, edible oil refinery, sausage kitchens and slaughterhouses
